Geraldine Rodrigues-Pratt is an ANCC Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse practitioner.
Geraldine (or Geri as she prefers to be addressed) earned her undergraduate degrees in Nursing from Kapiolani Community College in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1977; and Hawaii Pacific University in Kaneohe, Hawaii in 1994. She completed her master's degree in Community Mental Health Nursing at the University of Hawaii in Manoa in 1999.
Geri moved to Jacksonville with her husband in 2003; and shortly thereafter began practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. She had almost 4 years of experience practicing with a prominent Board-Certified Child Psychiatrist where she cared for patients in both inpatient and outpatient setting. During this time, she also had experience as clinical research assistant in both children and adult trials. In 2008, she began working in a setting that focused solely on outpatient care. She works with patients throughout the life span from age 5 and above. She believes in a holistic approach to treating patients. She is enthusiastic about counseling patients on lifestyle modifications to improve outcomes for patients with a wide array of psychiatric diagnosis. She is experienced in treating patients with Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorders & Autism. She enjoys treating patients in recovery from addictions and is comfortable in providing care for patients in the LGBTQ community. In June of 2020 she joined the team at Artistic Psychiatric Association and is primarily providing Telehealth services via Doxy.me videoconference, Facetime, or teleconference.
Geri has one son and one daughter and 3 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys playing guitar, dancing, painting, reading, travel, exercise, and spending time with her family.
